BADR Petroleum Company (BAPETCO) presented five research papers covering various fields and objectives under the supervision of Ashraf Abdel Gawad, Chairman and Managing Director.

The presentations were in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), emphasizing the need to foster integration between technical departments—engineers, geologists, and chemists— to develop and implement effective plans within each company.

The first paper was presented under the title ‘A new vision for the system of drilling and monitoring operations in new wells’. The second paper is titled ‘An integrated three-dimensional model of the Abu Roash (C) carbonate reservoir images transformed into dolomite rocks and affected by cracks’.

The third paper delivered under the title ‘The amazing results of the NEAG field and its impact on hydrocarbon potential and the arrangement of petroleum reservoirs’. Additionally, the fourth paper was presented under the title ‘A comprehensive study to prevent asphaltene leakage in the submersible pump stages during production’. The fifth and final paper discussed the possibility of using carbonates in the Jurassic era as a new opening tool in the Al-Abyad fields to diversify the exploration portfolio.
