Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi met with the leaders of the General Petroleum Company (GPC), praising the company’s remarkable production performance over the past years.
He also commended their commitment to safety standards, environmental protection, and operational safety.
Badawi emphasized the necessity of increasing production and reducing costs through intensifying the exploration and product operations by using new technologies, in addition to developing the fields, especially the brownfields.
The minister affirmed the importance of ensuring the availability of the right cadres to achieve operational and production targets, in addition to having diverse concession areas.
