Alexandria Petroleum refined around 4.3 million tons of crude oil during fiscal year (FY) 2017/18, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Company head Medhat Bahgat said that the company possessed EGP 50.6 billion worth of petroleum products by the end of the fiscal year.
It also produced 75,000 tons of butane, around 1.1 million tons of naphtha, 429,000 tons of jet fuel, 1.2 tons of diesel, and around 1.5 million tons of mazut, during 2017/18, in addition to producing oils, asphalt, solvents and waxes.
Bahgat revealed the information during the general assembly with oil minister Tarek El Molla to review Alexandria Petroleum’s FY 2017/18 performance.
