Petrofac, a top service provider to the global energy sector, has been given a two-year extension on its field maintenance services contract with Al Dhafra Petroleum of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Group in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the agreement, Petrofac will continue to provide specialized staff to maintain and support infrastructure at the Haliba oil field, which is situated onshore along Abu Dhabi’s southern border.

ADNOC’s Haliba oil field is at the vanguard of its development efforts and is crucial to accomplishing the company’s 2030 smart growth goal, which calls for increasing oil production capacity. In order to maximize the Company’s internal resources, it is also ADNOC’s first asset with totally outsourced facilities maintenance, which establishes a precedent for future outsourcing.
