Abu Dhabi’s crude oil production registered around 1.097 billion barrels in 2018, which is an increase of 1.4% compared to 1.081 billion barrels in 2017, according to statistics issued by Abu Dhabi’s Statistics Center, Zawya reported citing Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Moreover, the statistics pointed out that the external sales volume of crude oil reached 802.2 million barrels. Consequently, the average daily production of crude oil recorded approximately 3 million barrels in 2018.

For natural gas annual production, it reached around 2.988 trillion cubic feet (tcf) in 2018, with total exports of around 25.23 billion metric tons.

It is worth mentioning that the production of petrochemicals increased as well, reaching 6.8 million metric tons in 2018, up from 6.24 million metric tons in 2017.
