Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla chaired the general assembly meeting of the Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance Company (EPROM) to approve the results of the company’s work for the year 2023.

El Molla highlighted the importance of the capabilities and specialized expertise possessed by EPROM in the fields of operation and maintenance. He stressed the need for it to continue preparing trained technical personnel and raising their efficiency to benefit from them in the company’s expansion plan in its work inside and outside Egypt.

The Minister praised EPROM’s performance and its ability to operate modern, high-tech projects with Egyptian hands. El Molla also praised its commitment to applying quality, environment, safety, and occupational health management standards and systems, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made and all of the company’s employees.

For his part, EPROM’s Chaiman Mohamed Barakat reviewed the most important results of its work for the year 2023. The company has succeeded in achieving the highest production rates in all its sites, which include petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, natural gas processing plants, operating and managing marine piers, and technical support projects for sister companies. It also demonstrated a strict commitment to applying the rules of occupational safety and health, environmental protection, achieving 59.3 million safe working hours without injuries.
