Taqa Layoffs Still Not Enough to Stem Sliding Profits

According to Bloomberg Abu Dhabi’s Taqa has had to lay off 22% of its oil and gas jobs over the past year, with spending to be cut by 2.5 billion dirhams ($681 million) this year after.

Iran says gas export revenues to double

Iran's gas export revenues are predicted to double once gas exports to Pakistan, Iraq, and some European countries start, the Mehr News Agency quoted Iranian deputy oil minister Javad Oji as saying.

Iraq Adds $9B to 2012 Budget On Higher Oil Revenues

Increased oil revenues have allowed Iraq to add around $9 billion to its 2012 budget bringing the total budget for the year to above $110 billion, a government spokesman said Tuesday.
