Cabinet Approves EGP 37b Loan for Power Grid Capacity

The Ismail cabinet reportedly signed off on EGP 37b in loans to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) to fund expansions to absorb a production capacity of 18 GW by 2018.

Update: Floating LNG Terminals Receives Third LNG Shipment

The third LNG shipment was offloaded onto the floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Ain Sokhna. The entire shipment will be pumped into the natural gas national grid.
