McDermott International was awarded a large engineering and procurement (EP) contract from Azikel Petroleum for the modular 12,000 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d) Hydro-Skimming Refinery project in Nigeria.
The deal includes evaluating technology configurations and options for the recovery of refinery offgases, such as hydrogen, ethane, and LPG.
The work on the project will begin immediately and the contract award will be reflected in McDermott's Q1 2019 backlog.
