Around 150 gas fueling stations are entering service, El Molla noted, adding that the spread of stations in various regions encourages and motivates citizens to use natural gas as a fuel for cars.
El Molla inaugurated an integrated fueling station in El Max neighborhood in Alexandria, after developing it to provide compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling option.
Samples were taken from several fueling stations in Cairo. The test results showed that the samples are meeting the standards for fuel.
The ministry of petroleum aims to boost the number of CNG- fueling stations to reach 1000 across the country.
