Ganope Signs 2D Seismic Survey Project Agreement with Ardiseis

Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company's (Ganope) signed a new agreement with the Egyptian Branch of the Saudi company Ardiseis, a subsidiary of Arabian Geophysical and Surveying Company (Argas), in presence of Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. The agreement aims to implement a 2D seismic survey project in areas of the Southern Western Desert using advanced land node technology, with operations scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. This comes in light of the significant development in Egyptian-Saudi relations in the petroleum and mining sectors.

PETROJET, ENPPI To Finance Abu Tartour Phosphoric Acid Production Plant

During an extraordinary session, the ordinary general assemblies of the Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company PETROJET and the Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI) approved participation in financing the phosphoric acid production plant project in the Abu Tartour plateau, New Valley.

Ganope, Lukoil Seal Concession Agreement for E&P in South Wadi Al-Sahl

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi oversaw the signing of a new oil exploration and production (E&P) concession agreement in the South Wadi Al-Sahl area of the Eastern Desert. The agreement was officially signed by Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company's (Ganope) and Russia's Lukoil Overseas Egypt Limited. Its collaborative work program outlines a 3D seismic survey covering an area of 200 square kilometers, alongside the drilling of six exploratory wells during the initial exploration phases.

Minister Badawi Oversees Progress of Energos Power FSRU for Egypt’s Gas Grid

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi conducted an inspection tour at the "Tahya Misr" berth in the Alexandria Port to check the progress of the "Energos Power" Floating Storage and Regasification Unit’s (FSRU) preparation, before its move to Ain Sokhna Port for connection to its dedicated berth.

El-Sheshtawy noted that the company continues to implement its plans to increase production with a budget exceeding $100 million, with production rates surpassing 16,000 barrels of oil. The company also increased the number of crude oil storage tanks in its fields, reaching a storage capacity of 75,000 barrels.

Madbouly Reviews Final preparations to Connect the Second FSGU at Ain Sokhna

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly led an inspection tour to follow up on developments in preparing the infrastructure at Ain Sokhna port so that the second FRSU to start operations.

 Madbouly began his tour by inspecting the Energos Eskimo Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU).

MoPMR Awards Seven New Oil, Gas Exploration Blocks

The evaluation of offers for seven new exploration and production blocks under the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has been finalized as part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' strategy to attract new investments in exploration and production (E&P). Offered via the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG), these blocks will bring significant new investments and the drilling of at least 17 new exploratory wells.
