TotalEnergies to Expand Fuel Distribution Services in Egypt

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has met with Jean-Philippe Torres, Senior Vice President of TotalEnergies in Africa, during which they discussed the company’s plans for expanding its activities of marketing and distribution of petroleum products in Egypt.

During the meeting which was held on the second day of Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024), Torres expressed his company’s desire to increase the number of fueling and service  stations in partnership with the Emirati company of ADNOC.

El Molla explained that the fuel marketing is attractive for investments, noting that the diversity of companies in this vital field gives competitiveness in providing distinguished services to the public, noting that TotalEnergies stations, with partnership with ADNOC, represent a model for developing fueling services for consumers.

For his part, Torres expressed his delight for the company’s presence in Egypt and the cooperation with the petroleum sector, noting that TotalEnergies seeks to expand its business during the coming period.

He added that the EGYPES conference is a good forum for several world companies to learn about available investment opportunities and learn about modern technologies in their activities in the Energy sector.

The meeting was attended by Alaa El Batal, CEO of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), and Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution.
