TotalEnergies and Bapco Energies, the leading energy transition company in Bahrain, have cooperated to optimize the trading of petroleum products.
The cooperation entailed TotalEnergies providing support to Bapco Energies in optimizing its Sitra refinery, which is currently undergoing upgrades. This includes utilizing TotalEnergies’ global oil and feedstock supply capacity, as well as its expertise in refining and trading.
The partnership was announced during a meeting between Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of TotalEnergies; Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of Bapco Energies; and Mark Thomas, Group CEO of Bapco Energies.
