The Cabinet approved to settle the debt owed to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources by some companies affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector for their natural gas withdrawals.

According to the statement, in order to settle the debt, companies will transfer ownership of some of their real estate assets to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. This also aligns with the state’s strategy to end  financial disputes between ministries and government agencies.
