Tanmia Petroleum Company has held its general assembly meeting in the presence of Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to discuss and approve the business results for the year 2023.

During the meeting, the company’s Chairman Mostafa Amer reviewed the most important business results achieved during the year 2023 in light of the challenges the company faced.

Amer explained that in 2023 the company achieved safe working hours exceeding 2,089 hours, and was able to achieve a total activities profit of EGP 335 million.

Meanwhile, El Molla praised the addition of the renewable energy work to the company’s activities to contribute to saving fuel consumption and achieving the Ministry’s goals and plans to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions.

The minister also praised the volume of business achieved by the company during the year, and called on employees to exert more effort during the coming period to maximize and increase production.

This comes as Amer noted that the company will enter the field of renewable energy by operating producing wells using solar energy, which will contribute to saving 25,000 liters of diesel annually.
