Sound Energy Spuds TE-10 Well in East Morocco

Moroccan upstream gas company Sound Energy has announced the spudding of its TE-10 well in eastern Morocco, Pipeline Oil & Gas Magazine reported.

TE-10 is one of three wells that the company plans to explore in its Greater Tendrara permit, around 25 km northeast of its recently-awarded Tendrara concession.

The TE-10 well is expected to be drilled to a total depth of 2,200 meters over the course of around 30-40 days. It will test both a material TAGI stratigraphic trap and a smaller TAGI structural closure, the company said.

Sound Energy announced in November that it had plugged the TE-9 well after failing to find producible gas.
