Sonatrach Company announced that it started the operation of its Boosting III project in the Hassi R’mel field with its three South, Center, North stations after it completed the testing phase for North Station, a press release stated.

The company highlighted that the contractual deadlines for the phases of completing and starting the operation have been met with the required quality, despite the continuous COVID-19 pandemic.

Sonatrach referred this progress to the commitment of the project’s partners including national companies, ENGTP. ENAC, SARPI, and Cosider Pipelines.

It is worth noting that this project aims to keep the production levels at 180 million cubic meters per day (mmcm/d) and to add reserves estimated at 400 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
