Sirius Petroleum has signed an offshore service vessels (OSV) provision contract with Tidewater Marine International for a multi-well campaign in the Ororo field, in line with its plan to develop the offshore strategy in Nigeria, Offshore Technology reported.

According to Petroleum Africa, Tidewater Marine International, which is the international technical partner to the leading Nigerian marine support company T1 Marine Service, will serve as contract principals for the OSV contract with Sirius.

Sirius Petroleum’s CEO, Bobo Kuti, stated, “We are pleased to welcome T1 Marine Services Ltd as our vessels service provider to the Ororo field alongside COSL, ADD Energy and Schlumberger and look forward to moving into the next stage.

”

T1 Marine Service will collaborate with COSL, ADD Energy and Schlumberger to support the drilling program for the Ororo field.

Tidewater Marine International Sales and Marketing Eastern Hemisphere’s Director, Frank Gibone, said, “We are very pleased to have been selected by Sirius as their preferred OSV provider and look forward to working in collaboration with them and their partners in making the Ororo field development a successful venture.”
