Mohamed Saad El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saad El-Din Group and the head of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Investor Association, announced that the launch of natural gas delivery via tankers will start within days to Sinai industrial zone, Al-Mal news website cited.

Saad El-Din said that the latest equipment and preparations for the plant that will receive the natural gas have been completed. He also added that the tankers are ready and loaded, and waiting for the plant to finish its last preparations for the actual supply this week.

 Saad El-Din confirmed last April the initial supply trials by tankers, which was last step before final activation of the project.

Gaston for Compressed Natural Gas, a subsidiary of Saad El-Din Group announced in 2020 the implementation of the first phase of the government’s plan to transport natural gas by tankers with a total investment of EGP 150 million.
