In a press release to Egypt Oil&Gas Shell Lubricants Egypt announced that the company will gather more than 300 experts to discuss energy future challenges on the global level during Shell’s fifth technology leadership conference that will be held in Hurghada from November 17-20 2016.
The conference’s is entitled “Innovation and Cooperation to Face Egypt’s Future Challenges in the Fields of Energy, Water and Food.” The conference will host representatives to more than 100 leading local and international firms. It will discuss global challenges of increased consumption of the planet’s natural resources.
The list of speakers include Shell Egypt’s CEO, Aidan Murphy, Shell Egypt’s Managing Director, Saher Hashem, Shell’s Vice President of Commercial Refining Technology, Andrew Hepher, Delegate of the Federation Of Egyptian Industries (FEI), Tarek Tawfik, Careem Egypt Company’s Managing Director, Wael Fakharany, and Founder and CEO of KI Angels, Khaled Ismail.
Shell Egypt’s CEO, Aidan Murphy, stated that as a leading company in energy and innovation, Shell aims to push developments in future energy which encompass the fields of water and food systems. He added that the company believes it is possible to achieve this vision without the mutual cooperation between the petroleum sector along with the public sector and the private sector. Shell aims to present positive contribution that includes understanding in this matter through the Technology Leadership Conference.
The conference will cover heavy energy industries, academia, beverage, power generation and water treatment. It will focus on presenting the best methods for students, businessmen, inventors, small companies and social innovators to participate in sustainable energy projects along with leading firms.
