Royal Dutch Shell has appointed Khaled Kacem as the new Country Chairman and Managing Director in Egypt, replacing Gasser Hanter, Reuters reported.

Kacem was appointed in 2017 as the Director of Shell Hasdrubal Limited. He was previously assigned the role of Shell Tunisia Upstream Limited Director in 2016, and before that, he was appointed as President of BG Egypt in 2015.

Kacem will assume his position as Chairman and Managing Director of Shell Egypt as of May 2019, according to Amwal Al Ghad.
