Shelf Drilling has announced winning a three-year contract for High Island V jack-up rig for its existing customer, Pipeline Oil and Gas Magazine Reported.

The company did not reveal the name of its customer. Yet, according to the reports, the contract was awarded by Saudi state-run oil company Saudi Aramco.

The rig’s availability is expected to be by March 2022, according to the driller.

Shelf Drilling is an offshore drilling contractor with 39 rigs in 11 countries across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, West Africa and the Mediterranean.
