Rosneft has signed 73 cooperation agreements for a total of 616.5 billion rubles at the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF),  50 contracts of which are targeting implementation of the Vstok Oil, with a total of 558.8 billion rubles, according to Rosneft’s press release.

The company has signed the contracts for the construction works of the Vostok Oil first stage objects, power and aviation supply, service, supplies of equipment, production materials, special machines and pipe products.

Rosneft began building the North Bay Port Oil Terminal. The Company has signed a contract with JSC United Energy Construction Corporation to build the terminal’s hydraulic structures.

During the Forum, Rosneft and PJSC TMK agreed on an integrated supply of metal products for the Vostok Oil project, including pipe metal structures, reservoir park, and other metal structures for timely construction and installation works at the Vostok Oil project. In addition to contracts related to implementing the Vostok Oil project, other substantial agreements with Russian and foreign partners were signed at the Forum.

In addition,  Rosneft and Schlumberger have signed an agreement on technological cooperation to implement joint innovative projects in Russia. These projects are related to the development and operation of oil and gas fields.

During the Forum also , Rosneft and Baker Hughes signed an agreement on cooperation in carbon management. The companies will assess the scope of technologies and equipment to detect, measure, assess, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, primarily methane emissions at Rosneft’s production facilities.

Furthermore, Rosneft and SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions SA have signed a cooperation agreement on wastewater treatment and reuse technologies. Rosneft and the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development signed an agreement at SPIEF-2021 to promote cooperation in science, technology, and education.
