Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met with Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla to discuss oil affairs, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
The meeting reviewed a number of projects being implemented by the oil and gas sector, including current and future exploration and production (E&P) activities.
These projects enable the country’s crude oil and natural gas production to increase in all concessions, maximizing the value of Egypt’s natural resources and ensuring that its energy demands are met.
The attendees also reviewed ongoing refining projects, whether new refineries that are being established or existing ones that are being expanded to increase capacity.
Participants were also updated on the progress of the natural gas grid connectivity projects. The prime minister pointed out the importance of committing to a timeframe in linking households to the grid and resolving any obstacles in the way.
