State-run Polish refinery PKN Orlen plans to increase its monthly crude purchases from Saudi Aramco by 100,000 tons of Arabian Extra Light, bringing its total imports from Aramco to 300,000 tons, the company announced on April 27, Reuters reported.
A recently extended long-term deal between the two companies means that 20% of the oil refined at PKN’s refineries will come from Saudi Arabia.
Most of the crude imports to Poland are sent via pipelines from Russia.
