Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to follow up on a number of ministry projects and developments.
During the meeting, El Molla explained that there are many vital projects with high added value implemented by the petroleum sector in the petrochemical industry, with the aim of providing the necessary products and raw materials for use in the local market while replacing the imports of these products to serve the national economy.
In this context, El Molla stated that refining and petrochemical projects and the infrastructure of the oil sector are of great importance to support plans to secure and stabilize the supply of petroleum products to the local market.
The minister reviewed the basic features of the plan to raise the efficiency of operations and joint coordination with a number of production companies in the regions of Sinai and the Eastern and Western deserts.
