Petrosafe Company has announced that it carried out a number of 603 various training programs to raise awareness in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) in 2020, according to a press release.
The press statement followed the general assembly meeting of Petrosafe, chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, via video conference to approve achievements of Petrosaf in 2020.
As per the statement, the number of trainees who benefited from the programs reached 11,700 in different geographic areas in the sector. The training programs covered ways to face emergencies and crises and to assess risks and hazards.
During the virtual meeting, Emad Abdel Razek, Petrosafe’s Chairman, showcased that the company has updated the safety methods in the worksites of petroleum companies and the ways to protect the environment and combat marine pollution. The company also exerted much efforts to develop ways of transporting and disposing of wastes at sites in a safe manner.
For his part, El Molla underlined the necessity to reach the maximum level of safety through promoting a safety culture, raising awareness, and increasing training. He also praised Petrosafe endeavors in developing the HSE performance and activities.
