Egyptian officials at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources have met Minister of Mines, Industry and Energy in Equatorial Guinea, Gabriel Obiang Lima. The meeting dealt with enhancing bilateral ties in the domain of energy, oil and gas, Al-Ahram reported on September 12
The meeting here comes almost two months prior to the 5th Gas Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) which will be convened in Malabo of Equatorial Guinea on November 26, 2019, and will be attended by Egypt, as one of the GECF member countries.
The Guinean minister pointed out during the meeting that Egypt achieved unprecedented progress in the field of natural gas, confirming his country’s willingness to exchange expertise in the field of operating petroleum, refinery and petrochemicals industries.
