The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum issued the reassignments for the heads of companies belonging to the petroleum sector, aiming to support the petroleum sites with the necessary leadership and competencies to achieve future goals as well as exchange experiences.

Al-Ahram newspaper published the following reassignments on October 12, 2019:
Nasser Mohamed Nasser Showman as Chairman and Managing Director of Nile Company for Petroleum Marketing.
Mohamed Saad El-Din Mahmoud Abdallah as Chairman of Emarat Misr, in addition to his original work as of October 29, 2019.
Ibrahim Massoud Ibrahim Massoud as Chairman and Managing Director of Western Desert Operating Petroleum Company (WEPCO) as of October 21, 2019.
