At its general assembly on March 9th, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has praised the pioneering role of Egypt Gas in the field of natural gas deliveries and its achievement of the highest rates of implementation at the sector level, Al Ahram Newspaper reported.
The minister also praised the company’s financial developments during the recent period, represented by doubling the company’s capital in record times. A presentation was made that included a documentary film summarizing the company’s activities, which included the role of Egypt Gas in the project to deliver natural gas to homes and commercial and industrial facilities.
Moreover, the meeting reviewed the company’s role in many important national projects, as well as the remarkable development in the company’s performance in the field of general contracting, including integrated civil, mechanical, and electromechanical works.
The meeting results further included the approval to increase the issued and paid-up capital from EGP 961,482,290 to EGP 1,442,223,435.
