Petrojet has announced that it has manufactured the Aptara Modular Compact Manifold, marking its first foray into deep-water facility manufacturing, at its Maadia yard in Alexandria. This advanced equipment is set to be exported for use in the Baleine field in Cote d’Ivoire.

This came in implementation of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy to increase cooperation with international companies.

It is an advanced marine structure that is installed under the sea surface. This product is part of a family of light and smart marine equipment designed to reduce the total cost throughout the life of the field. 

This wellhead assembly was designed with very modern technology and is characterized by its light weight, thus reducing the cost of marine installations. Baker Hughes designed this system specifically for major oil and gas projects.

Petrojet is working with Baker Hughes to manufacture these facilities at Petrojet’s El Maadia marine yard in Alexandria to be exported abroad under the slogan “Made in Egypt”.

Petrojet has manufactured and delivered the final components of the Baleine Field Project in Ivory Coast – Phase II, to Baker Hughes and Eni, including the manufacturing of the first Aptara Modular Compact Manifold wellhead assembly structure.

The manufacturing process have taken only 11 months, which is a record time for this type of facility, and the final loading has been completed to head to the Baleine Project Phase II.
