PEDEC to Launch First Phase of South Azadegan Processing Unit

The CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC)  Nasrollah Zarei announced that the launch of the first phase of the crude oil processing unit at the South Azadegan joint field will be soon to start production, according to Shana.

He emphasized the importance of the South Azadegan processing project, noting that its capacity amounts to 320,000 barrels per day (b/d).

The CEO urged all departments to utilize available resources to ensure timely operation and address production needs, explaining that initial plans for the project’s inauguration were delayed due to shortages of specific materials.

Zarei stated that the launch of this major project in the South Azadegan oil field marks a significant step toward the development and optimal utilization of hydrocarbon resources.
