OPEC President and Equatorial Guinean Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima, in his capacity as President of the Council of Ministers of the GECF 2023, has participated in the launch of the 2022 GECF Global Gas Outlook 2050 in Doha, Qatar, together with the Secretary General of the GECF Mohamed Hamel and with the virtual participation of member states, associates and special guests.
The GECF Global Gas Outlook 2050 is an annual publication in which projections of the behavior of the international hydrocarbon markets are presented, with emphasis on the Natural Gas markets.
They are projections based on previous experiences, the current geopolitical situation, economic indicators, the last blows of COVID-19, and the environmental policies set at COP27.
In short, it is a publication that has become an essential reference tool for the natural gas industry, governments, universities, and the general public; highlighting its projections by world geographic areas: Africa, Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific (with special mention to the markets of China, India, Japan, and South Korea).
