Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) General Manger, Ali Ahmed Muqaibal,  announced that OOMCO is establishing a terminal bunker barge which will be always located at Port of Duqm and it is planned to be operated before the second quarter of the current year as a part of its strategy to expand its fuel services which will support Oman’s 2040 Vision, Times of Oman reported.

This came during showcasing the company’s expanding marine fuels and solutions at Duqm Port via video presentation during the Middle East Bunkering Convention 2021,

Muqaibal stated the terminal will be a central hub for bunkering services in the Oman’s ports. He noted that it will provide storage capacity of 30,000 cubic meters.
