First phase of the Omani mega crude oil storage park is set to be fully completed and operational in Q1 2022, Oman Observer reported.
The storage terminal is located in the Ras Markaz on the southern coast of Oman.
It is developed by Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO), a subsidiary of OQ — the national integrated energy group.
The storage park will help the Sultanate become a global hub for local, regional, and international crude oil.
Marine works at the facility was completed in Q1 2021. The infrastructure is 70% completed as of June.
