Oman’s Condensate Production Increases by 45.2% in December

The National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) announced that Oman’s condensates production increased by 45.2% reaching 69.10 million barrels (mmbbl) by the end of December 2020, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).

However, Oman’s total oil production, including condensates, stood at to 347.94 mmbbl in December and the crude oil production declined by 9.1% to 278.48 mmbbl.

Additionally, the report stated that the state’s average crude oil production per day reached 950,700 barrels during the same month compared to 970,900 barrels during December 2019.

Regarding oil exports, it decreased by 7.5% to 287.04 mmbbl until the end of December versus 310.33 mmbbl during the same period in the previous year.

Oman’s natural gas production increased by 0.4% to 46.3 billion cubic meters (bcm) in December, compared to 46.1 bcm in the same period of 2019.
