Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) and Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has signed an agreement for operating and maintaining OOMCO’s bunker terminal facility in the Duqm port, Times of Oman reported.
Per the terms of the agreement, OTTCO will provide operation and maintenance storage and marine services for OOMCO’s greenfield bunker terminal established at the Duqm port. The terminal will provide capacity of 30,000 cubic meter for storage and will be able to store and handle heavy fuel oil as well as light distillate products.
The agreement was signed by Ard Van Hoof, CEO, of OTTCO and Hussain Jama Bait Ishaq, Acting CEO of OOMCO. Hoof expressed his pleasure for this collaboration with OOMCO saying “We are able, through the optimization of operational resources and capabilities, to offer a cost-effective storage proposition to its customers in combination with a high level of quality of services.”
