Oman Signs New Petroleum Agreement

The Omani Ministry of Oil and Gas has signed a new petroleum agreement with Tethys Oil Company Qetpet Limited to implement the seismic survey and conduct number of geological and geophysical studies in addition to drill number of wells, Oman News Agency reported.

According to the report, this agreement was signed for operations in the concession No.58 which covers an area of 4,557 square kilometers.

The agreement was signed by the Minster of Oil, Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhi and  Hussain Al Lawati, VP Corporate Affair on behalf of Tethys Oil Qatbeet limited LLC
