Oman Secures 4.190 bcm Total Domestic Production, Imports of Natural Gas in January

Oman has secured 4.190 billion cubic meters (bcm) of total domestic production and import of natural gas in January 2024, a 7.7% decline to the same period in 2023, where the total was 4.538 bcm.

According to Iran news agency, that industrial projects accounted for 66.3% of natural gas uses in the country, amounting to a total of 2.777 billion cubic meters (bcm). The remaining usage was divided between oil fields amounting to 835.400 mmcm, power generation stations amounting to 555.500 mcm, and industrial areas amounting to 21.800 mmcm).

It is noteworthy that Oman recorded 3.468 bcm of non-associated production of natural gas, including imports. While the associated production amounted to 721.500 mmcm.
