The Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) held a ministerial meeting to discuss preparations for the 12th edition of the Arab Energy Conference which will be held in Qatar during Q4 2023 in addition to tackling a range of other topics.
According to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the meeting was also held to approve the results for 2021 as well as to review OAPEC’s events and seminars.
OAPEC’s Secretary General Ali Sabt binSabt stated that the meeting reviewed the reports conducted by the OAPEC General Secretariat, noting that the previous meeting witnessed discussions about updating the organization’s activities, the Arab partnerships and their role in climate change.
