During the Egypt Energy Show EGYPES 2024, Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla convened with a delegation from the UAE-based National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) to explore collaboration avenues in the design and execution of petroleum projects both within Egypt and internationally.
Minister El-Molla expressed his appreciation for NMDC’s eagerness to enhance their collaboration with the petroleum sector, particularly in key strategic initiatives.
For his part, the firm’s Deputy Chairman Naser Al- Mazrouei expressed his company’s interest in forging partnerships with the Egyptian Engineering Company for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI) and the Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (Petrojet).
He added that the NMDC is planning to invest in green energy projects in Egypt in addition to establishing subsea pipelines connecting the country to Europe, with depths of up to 2,000 kilometers.
The meeting was attended by Walid Lotfy, Chairman and Managing Director of Petrojet, Wael Lotfy, Chairman and CEO of Enppi, and Mahmoud Nagy, Undersecretary for petroleum product transportation and marketing.
