Nile Petroleum Marketing Company Developed 32 Stations in 2022

Nasser Shoman, Chairman of the Nile Petroleum Marketing Company, announced that it has completed the development of 32 of its stations and aims to develop 20 other stations during the current year.

This came during the general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to approve the results of the Nile Petroleum Marketing Company’s work for the past year 2022 via video conference. 

Shoman stated that the company has 75 catering stations and also presented the position of the stations under construction in Gerga and Farafra, on the Qena-Safaga road, and the industrial city. He also presented the position of their sales of all kinds of gasoline and diesel, and the supply of petroleum products to major consumers, such as the sectors of electricity, transportation, roads, major, agriculture, cement companies, and others.

El Molla praised the company’s progress within the system of catering service providers in the local market, despite its limited geographical scope, and its prominent role in contributing to securing the petroleum needs of Upper Egypt.

The Minister outlined the importance of the petroleum entities continuing to progress, develop and operate efficiently to achieve the goals of the ministry’s strategy, on top of which is maximizing performance and production efficiency.

He emphasized that these objectives should be achieved with a commitment to energy rationalization, applying digital solutions, commitment to application, and raising continuous awareness regarding the application of safety, security, and environmental protection requirements and everything that contributes to achieving sustainability.

El Molla pointed out the importance of increasing coordination and cooperation between the petroleum entities in common fields. The minister stated that companies marketing petroleum products are witnessing a breakthrough in performance, spread, and excellence in providing catering services, whether through catering stations or supplying the economic and productive sectors with their needs of petroleum products.
