Nile Petroleum Company to Add Seven New Natural Gas Stations

The Chairman of Nile Petroleum Company Ahmed Eid has stated that the company has 75 natural gas stations in addition to another 12 that are under construction throughout different areas in upper Egypt.

He elaborated that it plans to add seven new stations as part of its contribution to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) strategy to promote the use of natural gas.

This came during the general assembly meeting of Nile Petroleum Company which was chaired by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla to approve the operational results during 2023.

The chairman also presented the company’s situation of supplying petroleum products to major consumers, its expansion plan in providing jet and marine fuels as well as its plan to  promote mineral oils which was grown during the last year and its plan to raise the efficiency of the warehouses, transportation and applying health, safety and environmental measures.

For his part, El Molla confirmed that the Egyptian petroleum products marketing market has many advantages, including its large size, promising opportunities, growth, and development, which have resulted in great competition between distribution companies. He pointed out that this market requires developed and capable entities that excel in marketing, innovation, and developing and refining the skills of workers to provide distinguished business results.
