The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consulting Company (PETROJET) has been awarded the Safety Certificate Contractors (SSC) certification, marking a key step toward expanding its operations into the European market for the first time.
The certification, granted after a comprehensive audit of PETROJET’s occupational health and safety systems, aligns with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ (MoPMR) strategy to enhance the global competitiveness of Egypt’s petroleum sector and strengthen the international presence of national companies.
The company trained and certified 70 safety engineers through internationally accredited programs, underscoring its commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
The achievement positions PETROJET to compete for projects across Europe. It also reinforces its reputation as a leading Egyptian company capable of delivering large-scale petroleum projects that meet global safety, quality, and performance benchmarks.
Recently, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi honored several Egyptian petroleum companies, including PETROJET, in recognition of their exceptional performance and international achievements, following their inclusion in the 2025 Engineering News-Record (ENR) ranking of the world’s top 250 construction companies.
