Nasr Petroleum sold EGP 1.8 billion worth of petroleum products during fiscal year (FY) 2017/18 – a 21% increase in value from the previous fiscal year, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
Company head Nabil Abdel Khalek also revealed that the firm refined 2.8 million tons of crude oil last year.
The national oil company invested EGP 270 million into safety projects and maintaining infrastructure, Abdel Khalek stated.
The official’s comments came during the general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla to review the company’s performance in the previous fiscal year.
