The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MOPMR) has opened several community service projects to develop Abu Bakr Al Seddik village located in Amreya at Alexandria in order to meet the people’s needs and support the families who need care.
This project is being implemented in cooperation with Alexandria Specialty Petroleum Products Company (ASPPC) and the Orman Association as part of the petroleum sector’s strategy of social responsibility to support the Egyptian community.
Keening on achieving sustainability and unifying all the efforts of the sector to improve the living quality for the Egyptian people, ASPPC has cooperated with the Orman Association to evaluate the social needs in the village to provide the necessary services and build projects that serve their needs.
These projects come within the framework of the MoPMR’s keenness to play a positive role in serving society and enhancing the leadership of the petroleum sector in sustainable development in its economic, social, and environmental dimensions. It also confirms the keenness of the petroleum sector to cooperate with state institutions and civil society to implement community development projects in various parts of Egypt.
