Mohamed Fouad is actively taking part in the ongoing International Gas Union (IGU) executive committee meeting in Istanbul, where he wears multiple hats as Founder and CEO of Egypt Oil and Gas (EOG) Group, Secretary General of the Egyptian Gas Association, and Head of the IGU Marketing and Communication Committee. Through his participation, Fouad will play a pivotal role in presenting Egypt’s candidacy to chair the IGU for the 2028-2031 term.

He is also going to present the IGU Marketing and Communication Committee’s accomplishments during his tenure, showcasing its positive impact on the industry.

He will unveil the committee’s ambitious roadmap for the years ahead, emphasizing its commitment to continuous growth and development in the global gas arena.

Egypt will officially announce its candidacy for Chair of International Gas Union for 2028-2031 term this week. The Egyptian Gas Association will make the announcement during the ongoing IGU executive committee meeting in Istanbul, which is being attended by more than 150 members.
The Egyptian Gas Association delegation is led by its Chairman, Eng. Khaled Abubakr, and Eng. Mohamed Fouad, the Secretary General of the Association.
