Modern Gas Lights First Natural Gas Flame in Al Munagah Al Kubra Village

The first natural gas flame was lit for the first household in Al Munagah Al Kubra village in the center and city of Al-Husseiniyah in Al-Sharqiya Governorate, after Modern Gas finished pumping gas in the village, which is included in the first phase of the presidential initiative Haya Karima (‘Decent Life’), the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced.

The company appealed to the residents of Al Munagah Al Kubra village to quickly contract the delivery of gas to their residential units as soon as possible to ensure that residents optimally benefit from this civilized service in a timely manner. This is within the framework of the initiative launched by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to install the cost of citizens’ contribution to delivering gas to their housing units on the consumption bill at EGP 30 per month for a period of six years without interest in new cities and regions that receive gas for the first time.

Modern Gas Company’s Chairman Mohamed Qandil explained that there is a plan to deliver natural gas to 800 households in the village, bringing the number of villages in Al-Sharqiya Governorate that were connected to natural gas within the Haya Karima initiative to six villages. He added that implementation is underway in other villages as soon as the sanitation projects are completed, as work is being carried out in parallel in more than one sector.
