During the Misr Petroleum Company’s general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, Mohamed Bakheet, the company’s president, reviewed the most important business results that the company achieved during the fiscal year 2022/23.
During the assembly, Bakheet explained that the company’s total sales during the year amounted to about 9.2 million tons of various petroleum products, mineral oils, and aviation and ship fuel through 1,554 fueling and car service stations, 15 aircraft fueling stations at various Egyptian airports, three ship fueling stations in the largest Egyptian ports, and 20 railway locomotive fueling stations.
Bakheet added that most of the company’s supply and service stations in various governorates of the Republic witnessed development work during the year to operate automatically in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to modernize and develop the system for monitoring the transportation and distribution of petroleum products.
Automobile fueling services with natural gas was also added to a number of the company’s stations in coordination with GASTEC, stressing the company’s keenness to adhere to implementing safety and health requirements, preserving the environment, and developing human resources in this vital system.
During the assembly, El Molla encouraged the expansion of providing aircraft and ship fueling services, opening new business areas, creating additional resources, and expanding the production of mineral oils and specialized products, whether chemical products or industrial detergents with high quality.
