Misr Petroleum and Co-operation Petroleum (Copetrole) has issued new calibration certificates for new tankers with a modernized and more secure model, according to the General Trade Union for Petroleum Workers (GTUPW).

The new certificates are more secure than the previous ones as each model includes confidential codes so as not to be replicated in any way. They ensure the safe delivery of petroleum products from warehouses to consumers through continuous monitoring and following up administered by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).

This new initiative comes in line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ plan to develop and update the petroleum products’ transportation and distribution system.
